AN INVESTMENT WORTH MAKING FOR MOMENTS WORTH CAPTURING

Nothing lets you relive your wedding day quite like photography. Each photograph preserves a fleeting memory that has now become a meaningful story. Your wedding photography is likely your first family heirloom, a collection of timeless and romantic imagery that grows more valuable with time.

My wedding photography collection investment begins at $2800. Elopements start at $1400. Contact me today for more information.

FAQ
Do we need a second shooter?
It’s totally up to you! A second shooter is useful to have if you have many wedding guests or I am going to be shooting for more than 8 hours. A second shooter provides a different angle and an additional eye for capturing candid moments throughout your wedding day and makes sure that as the main photographer, I am able to perform my job as best as I can. My second shooters have a similar style to mine, understand how I work, and are great at capturing moments worth remembering. That said, I am perfectly capable and happy working solo, and some of my best creative work has come out of shooting on my own and completely being ‘in the zone’.
How much time do we need for couple photos?
Every wedding is different, but my ideal time frame for taking photos of the bridal party and bride and groom would be 1 to 1.5 hours. This gives you enough time to enjoy a drink, a little picnic, a casual stroll through the bush or along the beach, and have fun while you enjoy being together. I usually like to steal my bride and groom away for 15 or so minutes to enjoy a little quiet time together and soak in the day. That’s usually when all those romantic, intimate moments are captured, free from distractions.
We love photos taken in ‘golden light’ - what is the best time of day for this?
The best time I love to shoot hands-down, is the final hour before sunset. This is what the photo industry generally calls the ‘golden hour’, as everything is golden, the light is soft and everything looks amazing. A lot of images in my portfolio are taken at this time of day, so if you want your portrait photos to be drenched in late afternoon light, it’s essential that we plan the timing of your day to maximise our time for portraits an hour before sunset.
It’s raining! Do you have a backup plan?
If it rains on your wedding day, just be prepared with some umbrellas and a different pair of shoes you can comfortably walk in. We can still capture many beautiful pictures of your wedding day. I know lots of backup undercover locations and rain shots always end up being my favourites.
Our evening festivities might run overtime - can you stay until the dancing kicks off?
For sure! More often than not, the evening time line runs a little behind schedule, meaning that things like the first dance are pushed further into the night. Don’t stress if you’re wedding is running a little behind schedule! Usually it’s due to unforeseen things like the food being prepared later or someone’s speech running a little too long. I’m more than happy to stay at your wedding until you want me to leave! Additional hours of coverage will be invoiced after the wedding. Just have a chat with me on the night and we can arrange if it’s going to be 1-2 hours over schedule, or just 20 minutes.
How long do we have to wait until we get our photos?
You can expect a little ‘sneak peak’ the week after your wedding, either on instagram @aimeeclairephotography or via email. I usually deliver the online gallery within 6-8 weeks of the wedding.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! The Margaret River region is my home and I love everything about shooting weddings here, but I also love to explore other parts of our state, country and the world! I’ve photographed weddings down the road in Pemberton and Denmark, as well as Tasmania and New Zealand. I’ll go wherever the adventure takes me!
