on the 30th of march, 2012, tim and i were wed :) we got married in my parents front yard among the trees and warm dappled sunlight in front of our loved ones. words cannot explain the joy i felt on this day, and still feel now when i look at this footage and our beautiful photographs. i was, and am, so unbelievably happy!
my uncle jim took this footage of our ceremony and afternoon tea with super 8. i love the little snippet it gives of our day and i love its grainy vintage feel. the film is nice to watch in its silent form, but i chose to put the song that i walked down the aisle to. we had it performed beautifully by our friends delroy + laura, but the original version you’ll hear on this video is from old man river, appropriately named ‘the wedding song’.
